Empty, Party
A Twilight Paradox
When the eccentric shop-lined corridor became empty. We are forced to face with its hollow, brute yet pure shell. Where the rhythm of the voids suddenly evoke a peculiar feeling of the uncanny. A sense of melancholy started to arise from the paradox of silence within this nocturnal micro city.
To bring light into a void, is to speak within a silent room. Yet however loud one shouts, there are no echoes. To unveil this happening contradiction, the rooms are stripped bare and untreated to portray the purity of stillness, in contrast to the silent scream of words. Creating a double-exposure film, overlapping past memories and present bleak reality. Inviting the audience for a silent conversation with the sub-consciousness of the city.
